The Hub is a casual dining spot operated by a San Anselmo family committed to serving cravable food that is sourced from nearby produce farms, grass-fed beef ranches, and craft breweries. Many names were considered based on our menu of 100% grass-fed, grass-finished burgers and farm fresh salads...Farmstead, Sorich Ranch, Drake’s Farm...but in reality, we are located at Red Hill Shopping Center near the baseball fields, tennis courts and playground at Memorial Park, the turf soccer fields at Red Hill Community Park, and walking distance from Archie Williams High School...a literal "hub" of activity.

When we decided to name our cozy spot The Hub, the vision for embracing San Anselmo’s history allowed us to highlight the surrounding open space with picturesque Red Hill as our backdrop. The Hub is located on what was once a country dirt road, surrounded by ranches and dairy barns with a critical train depot at it's center.
